About the Role

We are hiring a marketing researcher, a role which comes with an opportunity to develop and join our full Sales team in the future. Success in this role will also create an opportunity for you to further your career as a consultant with Microsoft, working alongside UK Gold Partners such as Doherty to promote mobility and productivity with technology. You will work with prospective customers at the top of the sales and marketing funnel, managing and co-ordinating leads coming through our website, online chat, social channels and email platform. You will then research the prospects, to ensure that their needs meet our capabilities, and that a progression between the two parties would be worthwhile. You’ll also be responsible for the administration side of this process, recording key details in our CRM and looking schedule meetings for our business development team and prospective customers. You will be in charge of the process until this point, so you’ll need to not only be able to work autonomously, but also be able to qualify opportunities alongside our business development team to ensure that their team is used as productively as possible.

Part of this qualification process will require you to be confident talking to business decision makers, able to listen to their challenges and their hindrances, and assess whether we are in a position to add value to that organisation. You will receive training in the first instance, and support on an ongoing basis, to help you develop and also ensure you are as successful as you can be in your role.

Candidates are likely to have experience in telemarketing, fundraising, market research, call centres, recruitment, account management and sales. The position is being offered with a negotiable salary dependent on experience. The position also comes with an OTE package, which will result in commission being earned exponentially dependent on the success of your work.
